While SMIKTECK had built a strong reputation helping organisations navigate technology, it became clear that software development, business applications, digital products and innovation required a specialised business of their own.

Michael Stafford is the Founder & Executive Chairman of Goldyn Group, an ecosystem of technology businesses spanning managed services, software development, hosting, communications and digital innovation.
Having worked in the technology industry since 1996, Michael brings nearly three decades of experience across IT services, entrepreneurship, business leadership and technology innovation.
Over the years, Michael has built and led businesses focused on helping organisations leverage technology to improve productivity, security, customer experience and long-term growth. Through businesses including SMIKTECK, Cloud Storage Interface, Houndhosting, VoIP Phones for Business and Aureon Galactic, he has remained focused on identifying opportunities where technology can create meaningful business outcomes.
Michael believes the greatest opportunities are created when talented people, innovative ideas and strong businesses come together around a shared vision. This philosophy ultimately led to the creation of Goldyn Group, bringing together complementary businesses to create opportunities greater than any one organisation could achieve alone.
